Waldo AND Indian Island
- Nancy A. Denner, 61, died unexpectedly March 12, 2017. She was born August 29, 1955, in Bangor a daughter of Wilfred and Joan (Lolar) Pehrson.
Nancy will be remembered as a spitfire that was always there for her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved bingo and was talented with beadwork and making Indian dolls.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Wade Denner of Waldo; two daughters, Heather Turner and her husband, Brandin, of So. Gardiner and Erin Baker of Bangor; two stepdaughters, Kristie Denner of Bangor and Gail Vaillancourt and her husband, Matt, of So. Portland; six grandchildren, Myles, Madyson, Merrick, Dylan, Sierra and TJ; two sisters, Kathy Brown and her husband, Gary, of Orono and Victoria White and her husband, James, of Jay; and brother, Wilfred Pehrson Jr and his wife, Rhonda, of Pleasant Point; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; brother, Dennis Pehrson; and sister, Deanna Pehrson.
Friends may gather at St. Ann's Catholic Church Indian Island from 12 noon Friday until time of the funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday. Spring burial will be at Tribal Cemetery, Indian Island.
