- Michael Robert Noyes, 66, passed away at his home at Pushaw Lake in Old Town after an extended illness. Michael was born in Old Town, Maine, on May 5, 1950, the son of Lois (Amero) Noyes and the late Maurice Robert Noyes.
In addition to his mother, Mike leaves behind his wife Karen (Howe) and their son Brandon Michael Robert Noyes. He is survived by his three sisters, Martha McPhee and her husband Charles, Cynthia O'Connor and her husband John, and Sandra Willette, also by his brother Mark Noyes and his partner Carol Jackson, two brothers-in-law Steven Howe and wife Kelly, and Gary Howe and wife Cindi. Mike will be missed by his many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mike grew up in Old Town, was a member of Old Town High School's graduating class of 1968 and was a Life Member of the Elks and a member of Sons of the American Legion and the VFW Auxiliary. He built the family home at Pushaw, where he enjoyed fishing, boating and four wheeling. Summer was his favorite time of the year. He enjoyed sitting on the deck where friends, neighbors and family gathered.
To honor Michael's wishes, there will be no funeral services at this time. A memorial of his life will be held at a later date.
