- Michael Douglas MacDougall, born May 31, 1952, in New Milford, CT. died in St. Augustine, FL on Jan.17, 2017. He worked in construction for many years and love of the ocean led him to lobster fish off the coast of Maine for many years before he retired to Florida.
He proudly served in the U.S Army (1976-78) earning the rank of Sergeant. He was predeceased by his father Douglas (1924- 1994). He loved music and played the guitar and he was an adamant reader.
Michael had a kind and generous heart and loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley MacDougall of Enfield, ME, his son Douglas (wife Yayoi) of California and their children, Takato and Linley Mae and by his daughter Jessie Mae MacDougall (husband Ed Howe) of North Whitefield, ME and their son Liam.
He is also survived by his sisters Pauleena MacDougall of Glenburn, ME, (her children John Paul Seeber wife Nicole, children Breanna and Aedan, and Christina Seeber), Erin MacDougall of Enfield, ME, Cathy Dunham (husband Ben of Elizabethtown, IN, daughters Annie Baugh, and Lynn Acton), and by his brother James MacDougall (wife Amy son James) of Enfield ME; his aunts, Anita Baird and Helen LaTour, his Uncle Austin Barney and numerous cousins.
A family memorial service is planned for the summer.
