LINCOLN - Michael Albert Larlee, born June 25, 1964, left this world on August 1st, 2015. He will join his mother, Sylvia Mae Larlee, who predeceased him in 1995.
He didn't ever become the Pope, as she'd always hoped, but he had the heart of an angel and Maine humor that stayed with him throughout his most difficult days. Michael was a Maine son, and there was nothing he loved more than the Maine woods (except a good story) where he spent much of his time. He lived in Lincoln and traveled to work at Dysarts for over 25 years. He loved his family, his friends, his job, his co-workers and employers, and was always ready to lend a helping hand.
Michael was quick witted, kind, and loved animals. He never had a harsh word to say about anyone, except for certain political figures, on occasion. He will be greatly missed. Michael proudly served in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Loring, Air Force Base.
He leaves behind his father, Leon W. Larlee, of Lincoln, Maine; his brothers Daniel Larlee, William Larlee, David Larlee and Steven Larlee; his sisters, Linda Larlee, Tammy Bellavance, Kate Larlee, and Lynn Sanchez; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at Clay's Funeral Home Wednesday, August 5th from 6-8pm. A graveside ceremony will be Friday, August 7th at 1:00 at the Half Township Cemetery in Lincoln where he will receive a veteran's tribute. Those who wish may sign an online register and leave written condolences at www.clayfuneralhome.com.
