I'm sorry to learn of your loss. I've been talking with a lot of Lewiston and Waterville High School football players of my generation who played for Coach Haley. All of us agreed that he had a very positive impact on our lives and helped us appreciate the value of preparation, teamwork and (of course) the need to follow the orders of the coach!

I consider Mike Haley to have been one of the most important people in my early life. He gave so much of himself to his job and I wanted to thank you for the sacrifices you must have made along the way.

So sorry for the loss of mike. Hey was one of the best. Our motto at Maine was " get on my butt and follow me through the hole" a story he always told. He was one of the best spokesman that Maine football ever had.
