LINNEUS - Mary Bridget (Foley) Hall, 97, passed away peacefully Sept. 6, 2015 at a local healthcare facility. She was born February 27, 1918 in Goshen, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of Joseph and Anne Marie (Votour) Foley.

Mary graduated from Danforth High School in Danforth, Maine in 1936, went to teachers college for two years in Presque Isle, then started her teaching career the fall of 1938 in a little one-room school house in Orient then in Seldon, and the 5th and 6th grade in Danforth. She went to several of the East Grand High School Alumni banquets and enjoyed them very much. Mary married a man Elmer Hall, from Rochester, New Hampshire and lived and worked there at a woolen mill and shoe factory. She moved here to Linneus and lived here with a "special" nephew Donald Hall and wife Marie for several years.

Mary is predeceased by her parents, her husband Elmer in 1982 and by all her eight brothers and sisters Thomas, William, Leander, Omah, Ruby, Eugenia, Cecelia and Pearl. She is survived by many nieces and nephews all over the country.

Anyone who ever met Mary loved her and she loved them, especially children.

At Mary's request, there will be no services. Interment will be in the Hodgdon Cemetery. A service of Dunn Funeral Home. Online condolences and guest book: dunnfuneral.com
