ST. AGATHA - Mary Ann (Lizotte) Chamberlain, 63, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2016 at a healthcare facility in Madawaska surrounded by her loving family, after a long courageous battle with liver disease. She was born March 20, 1952, in Sinclair, the daughter of Rene and Rena (Chamberland) Lizotte.

She was a graduate of Wisdom/Middle High School. She commenced her career as a teller at the Aroostook Trust in Madawaska and transferred to the St. Agatha Federal Credit Union as a teller. She became manager until of her time of retirement due to illness. Her years of employment at this facility was 33 years. She was the co-organizer of the St. Agatha Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary along with her sister, Carol; a member of the St. Agatha Summerfest and the Chamberland and Lizotte Family Reunion Committees. Mary Ann was a beautiful, kind, compassionate and selfless woman who was loved by many. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She and her husband, Rick, enjoyed their time together taking trips on their motorcycle, traveling to places of interest and camping. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, scrapbooking and playing slots. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She loved spending time with family, friends, and especially treasured her time with her precious grandsons. Mary Ann will be dearly missed by her loving family, relatives and friends who knew her throughout her life.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Rick, of 44 years; her mother, Rena Lizotte of Madawaska; her two beautiful daughters, Stacie and husband, Jeff Linscott and Monica Chamberlain, both of St. Agatha. She was "Memere" to her two loving grandsons, Brandon and Trevor Couture; her sisters, Jeannine and husband, Ken Michaud of Frenchville, Susan and husband, Phil Duval of Fort Kent; one brother-in-law Bobby and his wife, Carol of St. Agatha; three sisters-in-law, Doria Wilkos of Windsor, CT, Jeanne Chamberlain of St. Agatha, Linda and husband, Jack Caron of Sinclair; and several nieces and nephews. She will be reunited with her father, Rene; a sister, Carol; and infant sister, Verna.

Family and friends may attend her viewing at the Michaud Funeral Home from 6-8pm Sunday and 8:30am Monday until time of services. A celebration of her life will take place at 10:00am, February 1st, at Our Lady of the Valley Church in St. Agatha with the Rev. Jim Plourde officiating. Committal services will be in the spring at the Family Cemetery in St. Agatha.
