Booker - Mark J. Lawler, 60, passed away at his home in Texas on March 2, 2017. He was born in Island Falls on March 15, 1956, the son of Constance "Connie" Peters Lawler Bridges and Maurice J. Lawler.
He graduated from Platt High School in Meriden, CT. He then joined the Navy where he was an electrical technician. He was a self-employed contractor.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Bridges of Penobscot; son, Gabe Lawler and wife, Abbie and their daughter, Penelope of Beaver, Ok.; daughter, Ember Stabler and husband, Josh and their children, Maison, Hudson, Charlie and Scarlett, all of Prairie Village, KS. At Mark's request, he didn't have step-siblings, they were known to him as his own brothers and sisters, Judy Donegan of Blue Hill, Rhonda Ahl and husband, Phil of Norwich, OH, Robbi Plumbley of Meriden, CT, Vicki Santor and husband, Dean of Meriden, CT, Bethany Lawler of Lansdale, PA, Lisa D'Annolfo and husband, Steve of Cheshire, CT, Matthew Lawler of Kansas City, KA and Gina DiCostanzo and husband, Dan of Woodcliff Lake, NJ.; dear friend, Ruth Conley of Booker, TX and her family, who lovingly cared for Mark, Jessica Skipper and husband, Matt and their children, Hope, Joshua and Sadie, Eric Roberts, Blake Roberts and wife, Jessica and their children, Ezran and Saya, Louise Roberts and fiancé, Andrew Valenzuela; and very good friends, Clifton Davis. He had many old friends from Maine Levi and Keely Damn, Tammy Campbell and Mr. and Mrs. Cheetos. Many nieces and nephews who each knew they were his favorite, along with many aunts and uncles that he admired and respected. He was predeceased by his father, Maurice Lawler and his second father, William Bridges, along with one brother, Stephen Bridges.
The family will miss him forever. "God bless Mark, your Mama loves you." A graveside service will be held and announced at a later date at Bayside Cemetery in Penobscot. (mitchelltweedie-young.com)
