She is survived by 5 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margot received post-high school training at L'École Normale (Teacher's College), in Sainte-Rose-du-Dégelé, under the supervision of the Sisters of St. Rosaire. Following her marriage in 1954, she immigrated to the United States where she raised her children with her husband John, completed her high school diploma, and became a US citizen. She leaves a rich legacy of deep faith and "joie de vivre" which she shared at every encounter and opportunity. She was exceptionally creative, and had an abiding interest in many areas including cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, golf and bridge. She loved to remind us of the preciousness of life, laughter and the importance of keeping family traditions alive.
