Margie's Story

PALMYRA - Margie Ann Kasprzak, 58, died March 12, 2015 at a Pittsfield hospital. She was born November 29, 1956 in Boston, Massachusetts, a daughter of Adam and Margaret (Kenney) Kasprzak. She graduated from Brighton High School and had been employed as a transcriber in the state court system.

Margie enjoyed cooking, but her passions were watching her son play baseball and watching the Boston Red Sox.

She is survived by her mother of Palmyra; a son, Justin of Palmyra; her siblings, Julie and husband Brian McCann of New Hampshire, E. Adam and wife Suz Kasprzak of Newport, Laure and husband David Moody of Pittsfield, Michael and wife Cindy Kasprzak of Bangor, Thomas and wife Gaye Kasprzak of Newport, James Kasprzak of Dover-Foxcroft, and Paul and wife Karen Kasprzak of Kansas; many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sebasticook Valley Hospital, the caregivers at Care and Comfort, and the friends that helped care for Margie during this time. They would especially like to thank Brian for his devotion to Margie's care.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 P.M. Wednesday, March 18th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport, where services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday with Deacon Fred Harrigan officiating.
