M. Elaine's Story
- M. Elaine Bouchard, 95, passed away on April 23, 2017, after a short illness. She was born in Old Town, June 13, 1921, in Old Town, a daughter of Lawrence and Loretta (Kellette) Dwyer.
She was a longtime resident of the Old Town area, and a member of St. Mary's/St. Ann's Church and the Daughters of Isabella. Elaine was residing in Westbrook at the time of her death. She enjoyed crafts and was a talented painter and enjoyed sewing and cross stitch.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, F. Clifford Bouchard.
She is survived by her son, Lawrence (Margaret) Bouchard of Akron, OH; daughter, Cecelia (Bruce) Peaslee of Portland; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Carolyn Bouchard of Akron; sister, Avis Manship and niece, Linda Manship of Brewer; nephew, Tom Manship of Northfield; and numerous grand nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26th, 2017, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town, where a funeral service will be conducted 10 a.m., Thursday, Apr. 27, 2017. Burial will be later in the spring at St. Joseph Cemetery. Masses are being arranged by family members in Brewer, Portland, and Akron, OH.
