GREENVILLE - Lura Mary Bell, 58, died June 7, 2015, at her home in Greenville. She was born in Greenville Jct., June 29, 1956, the daughter of Donald and Alice (Mann) Tracy.
In high school, Lura waitressed at her family's restaurant, "Someplace Else."
Lura graduated Greenville High School in 1974 and attended Auburn Maine School of Commerce and received a degree in business/secretarial.
Lura also worked as a secretary for SAD #2 Superintendent of Schools, Eurrich Insurance Agency, Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union, gatekeeper in the north Maine woods for Great Northern, and Harris Drug. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Greenville.
She is survived by her sister, Donna (Tracy) Vainio and her husband, Galen of Abbot; her sister-in-law, Priscilla Mann of Athens; 2 step-sons, Michael Bell and his wife, Laura of Corinth, and Jeff Bell and his wife, Carin of CA; 2 step-grandchildren, Shawna Neal and her husband, Jesse of Corinth, and Andrew Bell and his wife, Crissy of Glenburn; several nieces and nephews, including a special niece and her family, Trudy, Tim, Parker, Landen, Lola, and Penn Lonesky all from Kentucky; nephew, Garret Vainio and his wife, Jenny of Greene; nephew, Rodney Mann and his wife, Shannon of Greenville, and their daughters, Kayla, Courtney, and Jordan; nephew, Earl Mann, Jr. and his wife, Maria of Dover-Foxcroft, and their sons, Caleb and Colton.
She was predeceased by her mother and father, Alice and Donald Tracy; her husband, Donald Bell; her brother, Earl Mann; a special aunt, Lura (Mann) Rockwell; and a step-daughter, Vicki Bell.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, on Tuesday, June 16th at the Lake Road Cemetery in Monson with Pastor Marilyn Rohdin officiating.
