Monticello and Benedicta
- Lucy T. McNally, 76, died January 18, 2017, at her home. She was born July 9, 1940, in Houlton, the daughter of Everett and Mary Ellen (Qualey) McAvoy.
Lucy worked in Patten as a CNA then as LPN and RN in Houlton and Lincoln. She received her RN degree at the age of 52.
Lucy loved shopping and playing cards every week with Lois Sylvia, Lois Cassidy, and Phyllis Oliver but she especially loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Joe and Marie McNally of Sherman, David and Collette McNally of Sherman, Brian and Tammy McNally of Winslow, Teresa and Dale Jameson of Monticello, Timmy and Renee McNally of Sherman, Katrina and Phil Lento of Blaine; a daughter-in-law. Holly McNally of Sherman; 17 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Ann Cunningham and Mary Hunt of Sherman, Esther Hines Rush of Benedicta; brothers, Marty McAvoy of Wisconsin and Michael McAvoy of Arkansas; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; 2 sons, Kenneth McNally and Baby McNally; 2 brothers, Ebbie McNally and Albert McNally.
Friends may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 23, 2017, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Houlton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m. with Father David Raymond, Celebrant.
