Louise Jacqueline's Story
- Louise Jacqueline 'Jackie' Lorenc, daughter of Emile and Ernestine (Angotti) Lozier, born Dec. 1, 1925 in Millinocket, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2017 in Millinocket, Maine. She was also pre deceased by her Husband Edward Lorenc also of Millinocket.
Jackie was a beloved sister, steadfast neighbor, and loving aunt. She leaves behind a son Thomas Lorenc of Manchester, CT, nephews, Robert and wife Rosemary of Trumbull, CT, John Batchelder of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Brian and wife Cindy of Pennington, NJ, and niece Megan Batchelder of Windsor, CT. Jackie's great Nieces Michelle, Chelsea, and Claire, and great nephew Scott will miss their great aunt with sorrow and fondness.
Jackie will also be sadly missed by Jim and Linda Slauenwite of Millinocket, good friends and neighbors for more than thirty years. They stood by each other through smooth and rough sailing.
Except for a period of 30 years which Jackie spent in South Windsor, CT, Jackie was a lifelong resident of Millinocket. She loved spending time at the family camp on Millinocket Lake where she spent many days with her now deceased brother Carroll Lozier, deceased sisters Martha Lozier and Lorraine Lozier Batchelder and deceased husband Robert Batchelder. Jackie was the embodiment of a true daughter of Maine. Self-sufficient, and self-reliant but always committed to helping her neighbors and family.
Life is but a fleeting moment in time. Jackie lived that moment to the fullest. She will be missed by all who loved her. May she rest in peace. Arrangements are by Lamson Funeral Home, Millinocket.
