LEE - Kevin Ray Tozier, 58, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2015 as a result of a senseless tragedy. He was born the son of Clinton Ray and Priscilla (Thornton) Tozier on November 23, 1956.
He was well known all over for his long red ponytail, his stories and his smile, he was always laughing and joking. He
grew up in Springfield and Lee and attended Lee Academy. He moved to Prentiss where he built two houses and lived for most of his life. He was a hard worker, whether he was playing mechanic, cutting trees, or anything in between. He spent many years building and pulling his old pull truck and entertaining the crowd with his wheelies. He recently moved to Lee where he had started rebuilding his
old '55 Chevy and was excited to get it rolling down the road. He enjoyed having random old friends stop by and visit when they would see him in his driveway working on it. He also enjoyed spending time at his camp lot on Madagascal Pond, he called it paradise, and always looked forward to spending time there with his family. He was the man that everybody knew, from one end of the State to the other.
He was predeceased by his parents, his grandparents, an infant brother, Daryl, along with several very close old buddies that he is now reuniting with. Kevin will be greatly missed and is survived by his daughter, Shannon Rae Jordan, and her husband Wade, his son, Justin Lee Tozier, and Ashley Farwell, along with his grandchildren, Kali Rae Severance, Ashton Tozier, Avery Jordan, Brayden Tozier and Liliana Tozier. He never held back about how proud he was of his kids and grandkids. He is also survived by the mother of his children and love of his life, Donna Bussell Tozier. He also leaves behind his brother, Bill Tozier, and wife Virginia, his sister, Janice Mudge, and husband Steve, and his brother Doug Tozier, and wife Barbara. Along with several nieces and nephews. He had many dear friends that were special to him, far
too many to name.
Kevin would want everyone to celebrate his life and reminisce together and tell old crazy stories about him. A celebration of life ceremony will be held in the weeks to come.
