- Joshua D. Coffin, 26, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017. He was born February 5, 1991, in Bangor, the cherished son of Jackie (Cavanaugh) and Don Coffin.
Joshua grew up in Milford, attended Lewis S. Libby School and graduated from Old Town High School, Class of 2009. He then graduated from Eastern Maine Community College with a diploma in Electrician Technology. He enjoyed many special family moments including baseball and fishing with his dad who he lovingly referred to as "Pops", late nights talking and watching movies with his mom "the night owls" and time spent with his sister who he referred to as his best friend and biggest supporter. Some of his fondest times were spent with the nephews he adored. Josh was engaged to Colby Tenggren who was the love of his life. Colby always referred to him as "my heart, my rock, my world." They recently learned they would be expecting a daughter in September. Joshua will be remembered for his kindness to others, his infectious smile, quick wit and loving heart.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving family sister Heather (Coffin) Stephens and her husband Jared and their sons Connor, Grayson, and Abram; his fiancé Colby Tenggren and her family including his unborn daughter Hadley Jane; grandparents Theresa Cavanaugh and Melvin Coffin; aunts and uncles Scott and Vicki Coffin, John and Terry Paul, David and Sandi Cavanaugh, Scott and Lisa Dionne; cousins Jessica, Kristen, Valerie, Stacey, Ryan, Sarah, Matthew and their families; and many extended family members including God parents Jeff and Cheryl Nelson and special family members Rose. He was predeceased by grandparents Jane Coffin and John Cavanaugh.
Services were private for immediate family.
