- Joseph Clarence Sirois, 74, died peacefully March 12, 2017, at a Madawaska healthy facility after a long illness. He was born in St. Agatha, March 29, 1942, the son of Joseph F. and Annie (Bouchard) Sirois.
He worked for Daigle Oil as a delivery person until his retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 7920.
He is survived by his wife, Irma (Dumais) Sirois of St. Agatha; one son, Mark and his wife, Michelle, and 2 grandchildren, Joshua and Briar, of Springvale; one daughter, Shelley and her husband, Scott Jordan, and 2 grandchildren, Justin and Courtney, of Portland; one brother, Lewellyn and his wife, Carol, of South Carolina; one sister, Theresa Harold of Seymore, CT; and one sister-in-law, Ruth of South Carolina. He was predeceased by his parents; two sisters, Geneva and Gilmay; and two brothers, Milton and Milford.
Friends and relatives may give condolences to the family at the St. Agatha Catholic Church from 9:15 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017, until the time of services. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the St. Agatha Catholic Church with Father Kent Ouellette officiating. Burial in the St. Agatha Upper Cemetery in the spring.
