- Clifton- Joseph R. Jordan, 64, husband of Cathy Jordan, passed away at EMMC on Dec. 5, surrounded by family and friends. He was born in Bangor on Feb 14, 1952 son of the late Frank and Gladys (Decker) Jordan. Joe attended Brewer High school and was proud to have participated In the 1968 state football championship game. He retired from the state of Maine after 33 years then found his passion as a bus driver for SAD 63. He had a special place in his heart for all the children and made sure they started every day with a smile. He took great pride in all of his "Kids."
He is survived by his loving wife Cathy (Hart) Jordan of Clifton. His Children, Marie, Robin, Joelle and Joshua. BJ, Shawn, Kimberly and "adopted" son, Jimmy Brown. 14 Grandkids, Jordan, Alexei, Liv, Hunter, Juliana, Abby, Garyn, Katie, Brady, Annabelle, Cody, Abbigail, Ava, and Nolan, who he loved with all of his heart. His Sisters Janice and her husband Mel, Elaine and Gloria, Brother David, his wife Kelly, brother in law, Howard Shaw, Cousins Bob and Philip Jordan and many very special nieces and nephews.
His extended family, the bus drivers from SAD 63. His favorite boss, Jake Morgan. Terry, Cindy and His soul sister Kim Barclay,
His Springy Pond friends, Joel, Linda, Gary and Sharon. His very best friend, his man crush (LOL), Dave Sanzaro.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother in law George Katen.
There will be a celebration to honor his life at Holbrook school, 202 Kidder Hill Rd, Holden, on Sunday Dec. 18, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.
