- John H. Robinson, Jr., 82, husband of Sandra (Kaplan) Robinson, passed away November 3, 2017, at a Lincoln hospital. He was born April 8, 1935, in Dennisville, New Jersey, the son of John Robinson, Sr. and Stella (Chance) Robinson.
John loved fishing and hunting. He was a member of several hunting clubs and a past member of the Lee Mogul Pounders Snowmobile Club. His favorite place in the world was his cabin in the woods. He will be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help anyone who needed a hand.
In addition to his wife, Sandra, he is survived by his four children, Helen Susan Porter and Al, Michael H. Robinson and Sandra, Johnna Rose Brannon and Wally, and Elizabeth Ann Robinson and Reno Babcock; six siblings, George Robinson and Joy, Royce Robinson, Elmer "Skip" Robinson, Edward Robinson, Ellen Ader and Kenneth Robinson and Janet; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Dorcas Robinson; a special nephew, Anthony Joseph Robinson, along with several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Walt Robinson.
