TRENTON - John "Johnny" D. Pratt

Bangor and Trenton

Johnny Pratt, 38, passed away suddenly Friday April 17, 2015. He was born April 7, 1977 in Bar Harbor. He attended MDI High School.

In March of 2014, Johnny met Pastor Bobby Bledsoe and joined the City Reach program. Through the guidance and support of Pastor Bledsoe and many friends Johnny was able to begin a life of sobriety. Johnny took pride in helping build the City Reach Church in Bangor. He truly enjoyed the many new friends he made, especially Troy York of Bangor.

Johnny was survived by two beautiful daughters Trinity and Evey Pratt and their mother Maeghan of Trenton. His fiancé Hope Shauk. His father John Pratt and wife June of Trenton. His mother Brenda DeWitt and husband Larry of Ellsworth. His Brother Brian, wife Jasmine and their two children Olivia and John of Trenton. His stepbrother Mike Carter and son Lucean of Trenton. His stepsister Jocelyn Carter and her boyfriend Anthony Eaton of Ellsworth. His stepsister Elisha DeWitt of Augusta. His grandmother Catherine Murphy of Southwest Harbor, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Johnny was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Joseph Murphy of Southwest Harbor and his paternal grandparents Charles and Lolita Pratt of Trenton.

Friends and family are invited to attend services at the City Reach Church of Bangor, 127 Hammond Street, Thursday April 23 at 6:30 pm. With Pastor Bobby Bledsoe officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, Rt. 102, Town Hill Sunday April 26 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bud Morse officiating. In lieu of flower donations may be made to the City Reach Church, P.O. Box 2134 Bangor, Me. 04402.
