John's Story

Text size

Our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend went home with the Lord March 30, 2017. He was 32 years old and passed away suddenly of natural causes.
Johnny loved the water and biking. He spent all the time he could walking on the beach, swimming, and riding his bike. He loved the outdoors, Great Lakes and the coast of Maine where he grew up. He was employed in Holland, MI and was planning to move from Grand Rapids to Holland which is a lovely town on Lake Michigan. Johnny also loved hiking and spent time in Montana hiking when visiting his family there. Johnny loved going to church and carried his bible in his glove box. He also loved to sing and growing up we would often hear him in the other room singing to himself. After moving to MI Johnny joined the First Baptist Church of Troy, MI where he had many friends. It is with inexpressible sadness in our hearts that we say goodbye to Johnny for a time, but with much comfort we look forward to seeing him again in Heaven where he is now enjoying the very presence of our dear Lord and Savior, Jesus. Johnny is survived by his father John and Betsy Blaisdell, of Passadumkeag, Maine; his mother Debbie and Doug Woodahl of Missoula, Montana; his brother David Blaisdell, of Bozeman Montana; his sister Jennifer and brother-in-law Aaron Nease, his niece, Scarlett and two nephews Sullivan and Soren, all of Bozeman, Montana; his grandmother Marilyn Blaisdell of Milford, Maine; his grandparents Larry and Betty Wells of Sebring, Florida; his aunts, uncles, cousins, and beloved friends, especially, the Rounds family of Maine. A June memorial service will be announced.
