We were very blessed to have had this amazing woman in our lives. She was the cornerstone-the heart and core of our family and we will forever remember her tireless efforts to make everyone feel happy and loved. Her home was always open to relatives and friends. Joanne was an amazing cook. She had a radiant smile that everyone loved. Joanne will be missed by so many. She was an amazing Nanie to her grandchildren and she spent many memorable hours reading to them, playing toys, taking them sledding, teaching them how to swim down to Craigs Pond, kayaking out to her camp on Alamoosook Lake and she loved them will all of her heart.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Orland Methodist Church in Orland Village on February 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at the Orland Parish Hall behind the church.
