Amity - Jennifer (Faulkner) Fields 57 of Amity, Passed away on October 8th, 2016 at Eastern Maine Medical Center. Born January 9th, 1959 to Madeleine and Donald Faulkner. Jennifer attended East Grand High School, where she graduated with honors in 1977. She was a third generation mail carrier. Jennifer delivered mail for roughly 38 years. She loved her customers, as well as her co-workers at the Danforth Post Office. Jennifer often worked after hours, especially in the winter. She could be seen shoveling out mail boxes of those who just weren't able, or delivering packages late into the evening to make sure people got their Christmas presents on time. Community service was important to her, and making those around her happy, gave her great joy. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, biking, and cross country skiing. Jenny also greatly loved music, and was a beautiful pianist. She was famous in her family for her cooking. Jenny had a huge heart, and a gorgeous smile that could light up the room. She will be greatly missed. Jenny was pre-deceased by her parents, and two brothers, Gary Dean Faulkner, and Errol Douglas Faulkner. She is survived by her loving husband, Odel B. Fields of Amity. Her first husband, Michael Carr. Two children, Matthew Lewis Faulkner and daughter Courtney-Lynne Lamontagne and her husband Michael, of Bangor. Two grandchildren, who she was very proud of, Raymond Joseph and Emma Lee Lamontagne, as well as several very special nieces and nephews. Jenny had been battling pancreatic cancer for several months before she passed. It is a very painful and fast moving cancer. It is for this reason, we would ask that in lieu of flowers, friends and loved ones may donate to The Purple Iris Foundation in her memory. 418 South Main Street Room 9 Brewer, Maine 04412. A small committal service for close friends and family will be held at The Maine Veterans Cemetary in Augusta on Civic Center Drive, Thursday October 20th at 2 PM.
