PLYMOUTH, CONN. - Jeffrey A. Skinner, 56, of Plymouth, son of Jean Skinner Dixon and the late John "Jack" Skinner passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014. Jeff was born in Perth Andover, New Brunswick and graduated from Fort Fairfield High School, Fort Fairfield.
Jeff lived in Connecticut for several years, the last 18 years in Plymouth, CT. He was the happiest while working in the construction field, watching NASCAR and playing with Buster.
He is survived and will be missed by his mother, Jean Dixon of Fort Fairfield, sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Dana Cloney, Sr. of Northfield, CT, stepsister, Pam and David Ortel of Bangor, several nephews, nieces and cousins whom considered him not only their uncle but their friend, along with his extended family here in Connecticut including Barb and Chris Barnett, and many lifelong friends in Maine. He was predeceased by his father, Jack Skinner, sister, Barbara Skinner Bassett and stepfather, Trueman Dixon.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Maine. Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville, Conn., is assisting the family with arrangements.
