- James F. Stanley, 32, died from heart failure February 8, 2017, at his home in Holden, the son of James and Cindy (Commeau) Stanley.
Surviving are his fiancee, Lyndsey McGowan; his two daughters, Mackenzie and Daphne McGowan-Stanley; his parents, James and Cindy Stanley; and his sister, Jessica Stanley. He is also survived by his grandmother, Judi Hogan; and many aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his brother, Jason Stanley; and grandparents, Bob Hogan, and Doris and Richard Commeau.
James loved to cook and was proud of being an executive chef, loving father and family man. He spent his spare time surrounded by family that he loved with everything he had.
A service in remembrance will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, at Pine Grove Remembrance Center, 1347 Hammond St., Bangor, followed by a memorial reception at Jeff's Catering, Brewer. Those who wish to remember James in a special way may send flowers to the Pine Grove Remembrance Center.
