MILLINOCKET - On the afternoon of October 13, 2015, Jacquelyn Mae (Adams) Casey passed away, surrounded by her family at the Katahdin Health Care Facility.

Jackie was born on June 14, 1932, the daughter of Eva (Jucius) McLain and Maxwell Adams. She spent her life in Millinocket, graduating from Stearns High School in 1950 where she was best known as the most beautiful cheerleader.

Jackie married the love of her life, Leonard Earlen Casey, who predeceased her on September 19, 1969. She was employed at the Scootic In restaurant for over 20 years where she enjoyed the camaraderie of all those that walked through the door.

Her greatest accomplishment in life was raising her 11 children. She is survived by 7 daughters, Karen "Candy" Moffat and husband Wade, Sandra Allen, Lynn Marie and husband Arthur York, Eva Casey, Lavina Freeman and husband John, Christina Lankhorst and husband Larry, and Mary Catherine Walsh and husband Charlie; four sons, Leonard Earlen Casey, Jr., Carlton Casey and fiancé Melissa, Aaron Paul Casey and Kolen Glasscock and Jeanette; brothers Paul McLain and wife Gail, Michael McLain; a sister, Linda Oliver and Francis. Jackie is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her step father, Byron McLain, a sister, Maxine Daigle, daughter in law, Carolyn Casey, grandson, Jesse Johnson, as well as her late in life partner, Robert "Sonny" Vaznis, who loved her and cared for her.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dunstan, the late Dr. William Jenkins, and all those that cared for Jackie at Katahdin Healthcare. At Jackie's request, funeral services will be private.
