Herb was co-owner and bookkeeper of the business founded by his father in 1934, Ivan Frost Garage. Later Herb and his brother, Buzz, took over the business and changed the name to Frost's Garage. Herb worked many years at the business, until his retirement in 2012.

Herb was a devoted family man who cherished many memories with his brother and sisters, children and grandchildren. He checked on his grandchildren daily and was exceedingly proud of all of them.

Frost III and his wife, Jennifer, of Hampden; five grandchildren, William Grant, Jr., Wyatt Grant, Weston Herbert Grant, Aundreya Frost, Christopher Frost; one brother, Ivan "Buzz" Frost and his wife, Ruthanne, three sisters, Geraldine Stanhope and her husband, Rodney, Priscilla Ellingwood and her husband, Dennis, all of Hampden, Paula Lepore of Berwick; many nieces and nephews; special friends he considered family, Bion and Doraine Foster of Brunswick, Mike and Stacy Thibodeau of Winterport, and their daughters, Megan and Sara.
Herb loved the outdoors whether it was gardening, walking in the woods collecting tips for making wreaths or mowing the lawn at his home.
We know Herb's memory and spirit will live on in his family and friends, at his favorite place on earth, Halfmoon Pond.
