MELBOURNE FL & PENOBSCOT ME - Harvey N. Harmon, age 87, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2014 at W. Melbourne Health and Rehab Ctr. Harvey was born on April 28, 1927 in E. Machias, Maine to Harry and Annie Laura (Willigar)Harmon. He was a lifelong resident of Maine until he & and his wife retired to Florida in 2003. The many years he was in Maine he had lots of friends that he enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, traveling with & just talking over old times. For a big part of his life before he retired he was a Steeplejack & built or repaired steeples in various locations in Maine. After moving to Florida he quickly made new friends and enjoyed fishing, gardening and chatting.
Harvey is survived by his wife Donna of 48 years; his son and wife Brent & Diane Harmon of Brooksville ME; two daughters Pamela Brown and her significant other Gary Brabant of Suntree, FL, and Belinda and her husband John Jellesma of Palm Bay FL; four grandchildren Britt Harmon and his wife Liz, Linsey Holst and her husband Nate, Allison and Bradley Jellesma; three great-grandsons Trenton & Hunter Holst and Orin Harmon; sisters Irene and Katherine and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by a sister Louise and brothers Gordon and Hollis Harmon.

A memorial service will be held later in the spring in Maine. The date will be announced at a later date.
