After graduating, she moved to Millinocket to work and met Harold Higgins, whom she would marry on October 9, 1948. Geneva was a communicant at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Millinocket.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Harold Higgins of Millinocket; four children, Stephen Higgins, David Higgins, Harold Higgins Jr. and his wife, Jaynie, and Mary Beth Tabor and her husband, Paul; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Geneva was predeceased by thirteen siblings.
Friends are invited to visit with the family 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. Thursday, December 13, at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 40 Highland Avenue, Millinocket, ME, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
