Gary's Story

CARIBOU - Gary Bragdon, 78 died May 16, 2015 at Van Buren. He was born in Caribou April 25, 1937 the son of the late Roy and Eva (Bishop) Bragdon.

In 1956 he married Jeannine Lagasse and for many years he was a meat cutter for several area grocery stores, retiring from Hanaford Shop and Save. Gary loved to play guitar and was a member of several local bands.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Jeanine of Caribou are one son and daughter in law Gary and Tracie Bragdon of Bangor, two daughters and sons in law; Darlene and Bob Good of Presque Isle and Karen and Marvin Ouellette of Caribou. One brother and sister in law Mack and Joanne Bragdon of Caribou, two sisters and brothers in law Alice and Wallace Doody and Mattie and Bill Maynard all of Washburn. Eight grandchildren; Kelly, Amy, Jamie, Travis, Jenna, Joey, Faith and Emma. Eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mr. Bragdon was predeceased by a son Dana in 2014.

Friends may visit with the family at the Mockler Funeral Home 24 Reservoir Street Caribou from 12:00 Friday May 22, 2015 until time of services which will be held at 2:00pm from the funeral home. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
