HERMON - Frank M. Dentici, 61, died on July 1, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. He was born July 1, 1954 in Denver, Colorado to Helen and Alberto Dentici, the second of four sons.

Frank had a very full life. As a child he grew up in Spain, and as a young adult, spent a good deal of his time traveling. As a young man, he moved to the United States, where he met Katherine Davis; after a few years the two married, settled in Bangor, and had two children, Cristina- the eldest, and Carl. In later years, Frank moved to Hermon. Throughout his time in Maine, he was an active Mason, Shriner, Oddfellow, and a member of the Elks Club.

Frank was predeceased by both his parents and his younger brother Freddie. Frank leaves behind his two children, Carl and Cristina, and a son- and daughter-in-law, Alex Corona and Monica Dentici. He also leaves behind two brothers, Juan and Bob, and their families- sister-in-law Carrie, nieces and nephews Kristen, Katie, Annie, Joel, and Jacob.

Frank was well-loved in the community and was always there to help a friend in need; resulting in many trusted friends.

Frank passed at the home of Gayle Treworgy and Joel Hansen, who had been his loving and supportive friends for many years.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Sunday July 12, 2015 at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center Street, Bangor. At the conclusion of the services a masonic service will be conducted by the officers and members of the Lynde Lodge #174, Hermon. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments at the Family Reception Center of Brookings-Smith, 163 Center Street, Bangor, following the services Sunday.
