Hartland - Esther (Springer) Spencer died peacefully at home with her loving family by her side after a courageous battle with COPD just 10 days shy of her 78th birthday. Born in Weston, Me, daughter of Bryan and Cora (Muncey) Springer. Esther graduated from Danforth High School class of 1957. She enlisted in The US Navy WAVES in 1958. She worked many jobs which included Baker Manager of Mister Donuts in Newington, Ct, for many years. Her favorite job was being Gramma, she was influential in providing love and guidance, while taking part raising each and everyone of her grandchildren she adored deeply. She enjoyed crafting, square dancing, and playing Bingo but her favorite times were those spent with her family she loved unconditionally. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother Bryan (Buster) Springer Jr. Her son Malcolm (Mickey) Charlton II, grandson Jordan Davila, niece Dolores (Dolly) Rollins and nephew Kenneth Miller. She is survived by her siblings Rosie, Leona, Daisy and husband Kenneth, Julia and husband Mike, Walter and wife Diane. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews she loved equally. She will be sadly missed by her children Allen (Joedy) Charlton and wife Paula, Gregg Charlton and wife Deborah, Vicki Tuttle and husband Joe, Tina Nimro and husband Arnold, Keri Maier and Darren Maier.
Her 12 grandchildren, Amy Charlton, Paul Dorschied, Brandon Dandelski, Henry Paski, Ashley Charlton, Bryan Charlton, Jerri-Lynn Charlton, Cody Charlton, Kyle Sylvia, Joshua Charlton, Shane Maier and Samantha Maier. As well as 10 great grandchildren she loved so very much. Upon her request a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers we encourage donations made in her name to your local Hospice Care.
