- Eleanor L. Bickford, 65, died unexpectedly Monday, February 5, 2018 at a Bangor hospital. She was born April 28, 1952 in Worcester, MA, a daughter of Carroll and Lorraine (Pleau) Cray.
Eleanor married her love Danny Bickford on February 14, 1970. They moved to Maine and raised a family of three girls. She worked for many years at Guilford Industries in Newport. She had a love of anything Elvis. Eleanor loved watching wrestling, reading, and playing computer games. She had a passion for her family and loved spending time with them.
She is survived by her mother, Lorraine Cray of MA; her husband of 48 years, Danny; her daughters, Ann Bickford and partner Brian Kennedy of Dexter, Mary Haskell and spouse Lisa Haskell of Windsor, and Cynthia Mandigo and spouse Rob Mandigo of Dexter; her brothers, Roger Cray and girlfriend Cheryl and Brian and spouse Julie Cray, all of MA; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends that loved her very much.
She was predeceased by her father and a brother Dale Cray.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00 to 3:00 P. M., Sunday, February 18th, at the Dexter Regional High School cafeteria. Private graveside services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, in the spring. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help the family with funeral expenses may be made to Mary Haskell, 280 Tyler Road, Windsor, ME 04363.
