- Edmund H. Henderson, 77, passed away unexpectedly on April 12, 2018, at his residence in Brewer. He was born October 6, 1940 in Baileyville, Maine, the son of Arthur and Ruth (Shain) Henderson.
Ed worked for years as a tire salesman at C. E. Noyes and Bangor Tire, and also at Zayre's where he met his wife Mary.
Ed enjoyed watching sports. He had a heart of gold and a smile that would light up a room. He liked to talk and always had a joke or two to tell. But, he especially loved being a Papa and spending time with family and all his friends at the Ellen M. Leach Memorial Home.
He is survived by his wife Mary B. (Moores) Henderson; daughter, Wanda Torrey; son, Bruce Henderson and wife Sheila; daughter, Angela Nadeau and husband Dennis; son, Larry Cunningham, several grandchildren; Adam Torrey, Alan Harris, Dennis Nadeau Jr, Bruce Henderson Jr, Christina (Nadeau) Nickerson, Kailey Fortin, Dillon Cunningham, and Jenna Cunningham; great grandchildren Sanara Harris, Caleb Torrey, Jacob Nickerson, Kaylyn Harris, Zachary Torrey and Myah Nickerson; brother Darryl Henderson and wife Linda, and brother Phillip Henderson; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents and two brothers; Herbert and David Henderson.
Ed will be greatly missed by all. A Celebration of Ed's Life will be planned for a later date for his family.
