DIXMONT - Dorothy (Dottie) Louise Gott, 63, wife of Stephen H. Gott, passed away in Brewer after a courageous battle with cancer on September 1, 2014. She was born in Bangor, June 14, 1951, the daughter of Nicholi and Charlotte (Kasloskas) Arisimeek.
Dottie graduated from Bangor High School in 1969. She married Stephen the same year and lived in Dixmont since 1974. In years past Dottie was an avid bowler at the Bangor-Brewer Lanes and would play beano with the girls every week where she was always the life of the party. Dottie was a lifelong diehard Boston Red Sox fan. She loved spoiling her cat Sam. Dottie's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her only grandson, Avery.
Dottie is survived by her husband; son, Derek of Dixmont; a daughter, Melissa Hileman, and her husband, Gregory of Brewer; brother, William Arisimeek of Bangor; sisters: Elizabeth B. Cooley of North Cape May, NJ, Gloria Watson of Florida, and Teresa Luce of Eddington: and several nieces and nephews. Dottie had a special relationship with a most caring sister-in-law, DeAnna Gott of Winterport. Her love for her grandson, Avery, knew no bounds.
