Dianna's Story

MEDWAY - Dianna Mae (Gray) Davis, 73, devoted wife of Gary L. Davis, passed away October 12, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

During her last days her family lovingly cared for their wife, Mom, Granny and friend. She was born on March 31, 1942 in Eaton to Pearl Kinney Gray and Maurice Gray. Diane was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed cooking, berrying, baking pies and making a loving home for her family. She was a "mother" to many. She loved her Lord and Savior and was a devoted member to Zion Pentecostal Church for many years. She was married to Gary Davis on August 4, 1962.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Gary Davis of Medway, also surviving are her sons, Tyler Davis and wife, Pam of Medway; Zane Davis and wife, Michelle of Lincoln; Anthony Davis and wife, Kerry of Hermon, and Heath (Joe) Davis and wife, Jeri of East Millinocket and daughter Melanie Boyington of Medway. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren Kristi Miltner, Kevin and Kane McKinnon, Travis, Tyrell, Tyrone, Trenady and Tyler Davis, Devon and Connor Davis, Brooke Boyington and Tom Cahill, Emma and Jakob Davis; also great-grandchildren Will, Charlotte, and Kendal and several nieces, nephews and cousins; a sister, Mavis Turner Wood of Medway; and brothers, Ben Gray of Naples, Fla. and Sidney Gray of Eaton. She was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Rachel Couturier; three brothers, Cecil, James and Paul Gray.

Friends may call from 12 - 1 p.m., with funeral services being held at 1 p.m. with the Pastors Glenn Gromel and Rick Libby officiating, Friday, October 16th at Zion Pentecostal Church, 249 Medway Road, Mattawamkeag. Interment will be in the Medway Cemetery, Grindstone Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Zion Pentecostal Steeple Fund at the address given above. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home.
