Dewayne's Story

GREENBUSH - Dewayne A. Stoddard, Sr., 66, passed away unexpectedly January 3, 2016, in Greenbush, ME. Dewayne was born December 19, 1949 in Forest Station, ME, the son of Hayden and Myrt (Landry) Stoddard.

Dewayne loved to work; even when he wasn't working he would talk about work. Outside of work Dewayne had many hobbies; he loved to hunt, fish, he loved his model trains, tractors, new passion for motorcycles, he loved to travel and take trips to Tennessee, and he loved to go shopping.

Dewayne is survived by his three children, Dewayne Jr. and his wife Karen, Sherry and husband Brian Cota, and Amy Burgess; grandchildren Jared, Jacob, Brianna, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Nick, Jordy, and Madison; his mother, Myrt Stoddard; sister Cynthia and Philip Smith; brother, Wendell Stoddard; Sister, Irene and Alan Wickett; brother, Hayden Stoddard Jr. and wife Tina; brother Les Stoddard; a special cousin Tony, and several nieces and nephews. Dewayne is predeceased by his wife Nancy (Gammon) Stoddard, and his father Hayden Stoddard Sr.

Friends may call Thursday, January 7, 2016, from 5-8pm at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St. Old Town, ME. A celebration of Dewayne's life will be conducted Friday, January 8, 2016 at 11am at Birmingham Funeral Home. The family would like to invite Dewayne's friends for a time of continued fellowship and reception at Twin City Baptist Church 559 N. Main St. Brewer, ME
