HAYNESVILLE AND WEST ENFIELD - David Lee Clifford, 72, died August 3,2014 at a Bangor health care facility. He was July 20, 1942 in Glenwood, the son of Alice and Lee Clifford.

David drove truck for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Danforth, a member of Anah Shriners in Bangor and also a member of Penobscot Off Roar Riders ATV Club. He loved to hunt and ride his 4 wheeler.

David is survived by his wife, Althea; a son Craig; a brother, Dale Clifford and his wife, Kathy, all of Haynesville; a niece, Jane; a nephew, Dale Jr; and his companion of many years, Linda Russell. He was predeceased by his son, Laurel and his parents, Alice and Lee Clifford.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug 8, 2014 at Haynesville Riverside Cemetery. Friends and family are invited for a gathering at the Haynesville Baptist Church immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 516 Carew St., Springfield, Ma 01104. Arrangements are with Clay Funeral Home- Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth.
