MEDFORD - Darren Clement, born June 5, 1996, son of Angel and Richard Clement, passed away unexpectedly May 24, 2015.
Darren was a caring young man who loved his family, friends and PVHS community. Darren had a passion for soccer, hunting, fishing, hanging out with friends, and learning the automotive industry at Northern Penobscot Tech Region III. Darren would have graduated from Penobscot Valley High School, June 7, 2015. He also would have started Eastern Maine Community College for automotive, which he was so excited to begin this chapter in his life. If you knew Darren you loved him. He had a love for life and he enjoyed every second.
He leaves behind his mother, Angel (Boobar) Clement and companion, Eric DeWitt of Medford; his father, Richard Clement and step-mother Tanya (Williams) Clement; a twin brother, Dylan Clement of Medford; stepsisters, Kaylie and Kasey Clement of Corinth; his Nannie and Pappie, Tim and Debbie Boobar of Medford; his "Auntie" Amanda and Justin Hatch of Howland; his Uncle Larry "Bub" and Aunt Rhonda Boobar of Maxfield; his Uncle Raymond and Aunt Rose of Brownville; his Uncle Ed and Aunt Charity of Stony Creek, NY. He also leaves special cousins Josh, Jessica, Dell, Danielle, Larry "LJ", Matthew and Ian; extended family, Dale and Christine DeWitt of Medford; Candace, Zach, Sophia and Slone Mitchell of Boulder, CO; Jason DeWitt of Medford, Kyle and Amanda DeWitt of Medford; also Jennifer Cahill; several great aunts and uncles. He also leaves behind special friends Macy LeBlanc, Levi Castonguay and so many others to mention.
Darren was predeceased by Mimi and Papa Diane (Clement) Sack and stepgrandfather Ronnie Sack; also "Grampie Jake" Clayton Clement and Uncle Jake Clement.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln. Burial immediately following will be at Medford Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a gofundme page has been created for a scholarship in Darren's name to be given to an individual from Northern Penobscot Tech Region III.
