- Daniel R. Larcombe, 58, of Bangor was Promoted to Glory at his home unexpectedly on Sunday April 23, 2017. He was born April 15, 1959, the son of Thomas W. Larcombe Sr. and Dorothy H. Sites Larcombe.
Danny graduated from Bangor High School in 1977 and went on to achieve his Associates Degree in Medical Billing. He worked for the University of ME Central Supply, Pilots Grill, The Salvation Army Thift Store along with the Red Kettle Christmas Campaign.
Danny was a faithful servant of God and member of The Salvation Army. As Bandmaster of the church, he taught many children and adults how to play music and celebrate the word of God through the sound of an all brass band.
Danny is pre-deceased by his father Thomas W. Larcombe Sr, his brother Timothy Larcombe, nephew Thomas Larcombe the 3rd along with a special Aunt Lou. He is survived by his mother Dorothy H. Larcombe; brothers, Thomas Larcombe Jr., Terry Larcombe; sisters, Sharon Hutchinson and husband Carl, and Judi Hardin; daughters, Danielle Eberhart and husband Earl, and Melanie Larcombe; grandsons, Chris, Ben and Henry; many beloved nieces and nephews and church family.
Friends and family are invited to attend his memorial service Sunday, April 30th, 2017, 3 PM at The Salvation Army on 65 Park St in Bangor. Reception and celebration of life to follow service.
