- Cynthia L. Lee (Bartlett), 63 years old, died on November 30, 2017, at her home in Danforth, ME, after her valiant fight with Metastatic Gastric Cancer.
Cindy was born on March 2, 1954, in Portland, ME, to Winston and Elaine Bartlett. The oldest of five children; Pamela Bartlett, Jeffery Bartlett and his wife Annette, Kimberley Codrey and her husband Dennis, and Debra Reich.
She was the beloved wife of Everett R. Lee Jr, the loving and supportive mother of Stephanie R. Harris (Huff), her son-in-law, Edward Harris, and Aussie to her two beautiful grandchildren, Mary and Reid Harris. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Daisy Deering, sister-in-law, Barbara Gray and her husband, Colin, sister-in-law Linda Kinney, special nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and favorite cousin and Chemo Buddy Eileen Lynch, her ex-husband Buzz Huff, and countless friends.
Her strong will to live and unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters within her community, carried her through her struggle with Cancer. A huge blessing to Cindy and her family was Sarah's House of Maine in Holden and the wonderful staff of volunteers there including Delores Landry, Lindsay Turner and Priscella, who created a home away from home for families like ours while undergoing treatments. Her family would also like to thank Cancer Care of Maine in Brewer, ME, and Dr. Garrett, Janice Pelotte, Jennifer Theresa and all of the numerous nurses who all went above and beyond during all of their visits.
Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of many, who even now, are being changed by her constant nurturing love and faith. Her signature gift of joy shown through her constant smiling, laughter and joking around, will never be forgotten.
We were all so very lucky to have someone that makes saying good bye so hard! We could never forget someone who gave us so much to remember.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Sara's House of Maine, in Holden, ME.
