Clayton's Story

ORIENT - Clayton R. "Junnie" McKissick, Jr., 46, passed away unexpectedly at his home December 28, 2015, after a long, hard-fought battle with manic depression.

Junnie was a well-known mechanic and fabricator who took pride in any job he did, giving it 110%. He was a loving, compassionate, humble man who will be deeply and sadly missed by many including his wife of 23 years, Kathleen, and their two daughters, Kassidy and Jordyn of whom he was extremely proud.

In addition he leaves behind a large, loving family including his sisters Laurie and Billy Hovey and Tammy and Ricky Scott; brothers Brian McKissick and fiance Wendi Britton as well as Scott McKissick; Beverly and Donald Bubar, MaryAnn and Alan Hanscom, Christina and Maurice Gray, Roland and April Crawford, and Thomas Crawford as well as many, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who loved him dearly and who he loved to have come and stay and enjoy four-wheeling and snowsledding trips.

Funeral services will be private with a public luncheon at 2 pm Saturday January 2, 2016 at the Linneus Snoclub.
