Blue Hill - Chandler A. Duffy passed away at home on Tuesday, September 5, 2017. He was born in Blue Hill, a son of the late Harry (Bob) Duffy and Dorothy (Piper) Duffy. He graduated from GSA class of 1957 and went on to Wentworth Institute in Boston to receive his associate's degree in drafting.
In 1958, he married his true love, Sylvia (Sue) Keefe and they raised their family in Blue Hill. Chan was well known as a master plumber and many of the area plumbers today learned their trade from Chan. He was equally well known as an excellent marksman and received many awards to prove it. He was a member of the Ira Berry Lodge # 128 in Blue Hill.
He was predeceased by both of his parents and his son, Stephen Duffy.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sylvia Duffy; daughter- Dawn; grandson- Matthew and wife, Heaven; great-grandkids- Juliet and Roselynn; step great-grandkids- Olivia, Damien, and Kayden; many close friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Blue Hill Fire Department, Peninsula Ambulance, or Hancock County Homecare and Hospice. A private family service has been scheduled. Arrangements entrusted to Bragdon-Kelley Funeral Home.
