- Carolyn W. Alexander, 83, passed away at EMMC in Bangor. Born January 10th, 1934, the daughter of the late Lewis L. and Hilda (Libby) Washburn. She is survived by her sister Audrey Moores of Rochester, NH, her brother David Washburn and his wife Charlene. She is also survived by four children, Callie Boyington and husband Jeff of Lee, Allan Alexander and wife Alice of Burlington, Kevin Alexander of Saco, Sandy Wilson and husband Mike of Lincoln. Seven grandchildren, Michael Rollins, Shawn Gordon and Nancy, Heather Soucy and husband Harry, Amy Markie and husband Chad, Adam Alexander and fiancé Jessy, Seth Wilson and Kyle Alexander. Eight great grandchildren, Brianna, Dustin, Hunter, Hannah, Hayden, Tyler, Camden and Gavin. One great great grandson Royce. Two very special friends Grace Haskell and Connie Ireland. She graduated from Mattanawcook Academy in Lincoln. She worked many years at J.J. Newberry and then Lincoln Pulp and Paper. She was known for being a hard worker, for her wonderful laugh, her strong spirit and her zest for life. A Celebration Of Life will be held at the Lincoln Snowhounds Clubhouse on October 28th, 2017 at 1.00 pm.
