She was known as a strong independent woman, who was a hard worker and had a passion for adventure, which was proven upon retirement when she put the camper on her truck and drove to Alaska by herself. She also had a beautiful smile and wonderful laugh that could fill the room and make anyone smile. She enjoyed many things in life, but the one thing she enjoyed most was spending time with family and friends. Whether it was sitting around a campfire, eating on the deck listening to the loons, shopping or just going for a ride and seeing where she would end up. Anyone that knew her could tell you that she lived each and every day to the fullest and she would not have had it any other way.
There will be a celebration of life Oct. 28, at 1 p.m. at the Lincoln Snowhound's Club.
