- Carl McKinley Fish, Jr., 86, passed away January 23, 2017, at Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was born January 23, 1931, in Brookton, the son of Carl and Mina Fish, Sr. Carl was a U S Army veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed building things, greenhouse, planting gardens, and fishing. He worked in the woods most of his life. He was a member of Bethel Chapel in Talmadge.
He is survived by his wife Nina, son Gary, daughters Kathy and Ken, and Carla and Phil; three stepchildren John, Donna, and Lillian; siblings Geraldine, Frank and Fred; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He also leaves special friends Pastor Thomas Smith (his buddy) and Joe and Wayne at the little store. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife Charlotte, siblings Iris, Dale and Ralph and a granddaughter Tanya.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 27, 2017, at Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Road, Lincoln, where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Military Honors will follow the funeral service.
