- Brian Reed Campbell, 79, passed away on January 22, 2018 in Winter Haven, FL. He was born December 7,1938, in Corinth, ME, the youngest child of Arthur and Madelyn (Blackwell) Campbell.
Brian was a life-long farmer and was very proud of his farm in Exeter, ME, having won The Maine Potato Board Farm Family of the Year in 2004. He held several leadership positions in the potato industry at the state and national levels. He was a 40 year member of the Parian Lodge in Corinna, ME, and a member of the Anah Temple Shrine. Brian was an avid golfer and enjoyed his winters in Lake Wales, FL. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandsons.
Brian is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sheila (Smith) Campbell, a daughter, Jolynn of Bangor, ME, a son, Jeffrey and wife, Dawn, of Mariaville, ME, and two grandsons, Cole Campbell and fiancee, Darci Perkins, of Camden, ME, and Brody Campbell of Mariaville, ME. He is also survived by his brother, Kieth Campbell of Farmington, NM, and a niece, Amanda Percival Cushman of Bangor, ME.
He was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Gwendolyn Percival.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
