Caswell - Brandon S. Small, 44, passed away Wednesday afternoon December 21, 2016, at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 27, 1972, in Bangor, the son of Frederick and Sylvia (Hardy) Small. He graduated Easton High School, class of 1990. He served in the US Army 1990-1996.
Brandon was an active volunteer of the Vinalhaven Fire Department for six years. He worked as a building contractor. Brandon married Heather Boyce on Nov. 9, 2007. He is survived by his wife Heather of Caswell, a son Justin Michael Small of Caswell, a daughter Rebecca Ann Small of Palmyra, a step son Alec Comeau and a step daughter Morgan Comeau of Caswell, a brother Nathaniel Small of Warren, two sisters; Laura Small of LaFayette, CO, and Krystal Hollingsworth and her husband Rami of Fountain, CO, and numerous friends.
Friends may call 9:30-10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at the Church of Jesus of Latter Day Saints, 67 Paris Snow Drive, Caribou, where services will be held at 11 a.m. with Bishop Hyrum Benson officiating. Spring interment with military honors will be at Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Donations may be made to the Brandon Small Cancer Fund, 1682 Van Buren Rd., Caswell, ME 04750.
