PORTLAND AND PRESQUE ISLE - Bobby Jo Hafford died unexpectedly on October 21st, 2015, at the age of 35, in Portland, Maine.
Bobby was born in Fort Kent on April 17th, 1980. He graduated from Fort Kent High School in 1998 and went on to study Forestry at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Bobby loved Maine and settled in the Portland area where he enjoyed living near his little brother and the ocean. Bobby loved dogs and fishing for stripers.
Bob was known throughout his life for his toughness, his humor, his kindness and his hard work. He was always the first to offer a helping hand, a good story or joke. Bobby loved kids and had a way of making them laugh that came naturally to him, being somewhat of a big kid himself. There are no words to convey how much he will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
Bobby is survived by his mothers, Marry Hafford and Sherry Hafford; the love of his life Andrea Boyle; her children, whom he loved as his own, Brandon, Morgan and Isabella; his brothers, Doug Hafford, Wade Hafford, Chris Hafford, Tom Kennedy and Justin York; his sisters, Lisa and Melissa Kennedy, Bridget Byrne, Melissa Hafford; his nieces, Jillian Hafford, Jocelyn Hafford, Harley Hafford, Emily Kennedy and Jasmine Kennedy; family friends, Owen Bowermaster, Kenneth Marston, Tammie Hafford, Dustin McGillan, Douglas Hafford Sr., the entire extended Hafford family and many of the people of Allagash and St. Francis, Maine, and countless others he impacted throughout his life. He is predeceased by his father, Roger Hafford and his brother, Buddy Hafford; his best buddies, Trife and Chico.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 1-4pm at Duncan Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church Street, Presque Isle, where a funeral service will be held at 4pm.
