Zephyrhills, FL, and Bangor
- Beverly Osgood Gordon, 84, of Bangor, Maine and Zephyrhills, Florida passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2017, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born the daughter of Doris May (Sprague) and Harold Osgood on January 7, 1933 at the height of the great depression and it impacted her all her life. She raised five children, working hard to make sure there was always food on the table, no matter their circumstances; Wanda, Dean, Robert, Tomas and Lisa. She worked at many jobs over her lifetime, but her proudest achievement was nursing school. She worked as an LPN for many years and often said her favorite part of the job was sticking needles into people. She had several loves during her lifetime, but Jason Dubois, who predeceased her in 1994, was the love of her life. They were together nearly 16 years and when she lost him to cancer, her heart was broken. She is survived by two daughters, Wanda Morin and her husband, Leo, of North Carolina and Lisa Gordon of Bangor; two sons, Robert Verrill and his wife Maria, of Bangor and Tomas Verrill and his wife, Tracy, of Zephyrhills, Florida. She is survived by eleven grandchildren; Heather Morin, Matt Morin, Mark Morin, Dion Gould, Matt Verrill, Craig Verrill, Joshua Verrill, Erin Perry, Molly Verrill, Ciara Gordon-Magro and Summer Magro; and eight great-grandchildren; Emma, Oliver, Aurora, Bryce, Miranda, Addison, Amelia and Cooper. She was predeceased by her oldest son, Dean Gould, and her grandson, T.J. Gordon. Beverly loved life and lived it on her own terms. She was active at the local AM-VETS and other organizations in Zephyrhills and will be missed by her many friends. There was nothing she liked more than having a glass of white zin and listening to music with her friends. She was a wonderful, colorful, lady who lit up a room when she walked in and she will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Family and friends may visit for a graveside service at Lakeview Cemetery, Glenburn, Maine on August 12, 2017 at 1pm.
